Frontenay Passion proposes cultural events at summer time and a Jazz Festival every 2 years

LES RENCONTRES DE FRONTENAY

In 2025, Frontenay Passion will hand over to the association Les Rencontres de Frontenay, dedicated to promoting the artistic and cultural influence of the Bourgogne–Franche-Comté region.

To this end, the association will organize a modern and contemporary art exhibition, centered on the theme of metamorphosis, alternating every other year with an artist residency.

In the summer of 2026 (1st July – August 30 & Third week-end of september), the inaugural exhibition will be devoted to the animal sculptor François Pompon.

JAZZ FESTIVAL

Frontenay Jazz is a biennial festival of jazz and contemporary music held in Frontenay. Since 2007, it has taken place in the courtyard of the château and in the village cellars. Its programmers—a collective of musicians and jazz enthusiasts—have, from the very first edition, sought to combine performances by internationally renowned artists with the discovery of emerging talent.

Next edition: August 22, 2026, in the village (even-numbered years!).
